Senor Frogs, restaurant by day and party atmosphere
at night is a popular spot for those on vacation in
Cancun. In addition to the flagship site in Cancun,
which opened in 1989, there are also venues at Playa
Del Carmen and Cozumel.
The restaurant opens at midday and continues through
until midnight serving international type food such
as pizza, pasta, steak, chicken and of course Mexican
dishes such as fajitas and enchiladas. The restaurant
at Senor Frogs has capacity for up to 300 customers.
During the evening the venue has capacity for up to
1500 people with daily live music, DJs, contests and
karaoke the bar closes at 3am. Popular with the younger
crowd it's always busy during Spring and Summer break.
Senor Frogs also has a water slide which leads from
the venue out to the lagoon, this is not always open
though.
La Boom
La Boom is many peoples favourite club in Cancun.
Easily spotted by the Red London bus outside and Olde
English telephone box this club lies a little outside
of party central at Km 3.5. Top sound system, multilevel
dance floor, several bars and fantastic light show,
this is probably the trendiest club in Cancun.
t its busiest times more than 3,500 can be present
at any one time and turnover of guests sometimes gets
as high as 10,000 people in a night. One of the most
popular spring and summer break clubs the club organises
a weekly program of special events with guest superstar
DJ's. 2002 saw DJ performances from MTV's DJ Skribble,
DJ Clue, and European legends Judge Jules and Paul
Van Dyk. Eminem and Dr Dre have played here several
times during spring break. Theme nights every night
of the week, such as Male Hot Body (Wednesday) and
the famous Bikini Contest (Friday). Specialising in
techno, house and the latest dance music the dance
floor is split level, the open bar is definitely recommended
- good service, strong drinks and close to the action
unlike some of the other clubs in Cancun.
Bulldog Cafe
Bulldog, Cancun A new alternative for enjoying the
