At Extreme Skydiving, beginners can tandem-jump with an instructor, and experienced jumpers can get advanced training or simply join in the fun. Extreme also is available for exhibition jumps with up to 10 participants and for weddings. Weddings?

"You can do that in the plane, on the ground -- there's a whole myriad of ways to get married," says Extreme's co-owner, Dale Hinton. "It's all depending on what you want to do personally."

Extreme delights in showing first-timers what the experience of skydiving is like, citing a saying in the sport, "Only skydivers truly understand why the birds sing."

As the plane rolls down the runway and lifts off you can have pride in yourself that you have made a commitment to face a challenge and embark on one of life's truly special experiences. While you enjoy the beautiful views of Mount Charleston, Red Rock Canyon and the Las Vegas Strip the pilot will be guiding the plane to our jump altitude over 2 miles above the earth. As jump time approaches your instructor will give you one final check and then via 4 attachment points secure you to his equipment (each upper attachment is capable of holding 5000 lbs.)

When the door finally opens and you exit the aircraft most of our students say their fears stay in the plane and the feeling they are left with they describe only as indescribable!!!

All of Extreme's instructors have military or record-holding experience beneath their straps, and chief instructor Eddie Carroll is a veteran of nearly 14,000 jumps and more than 23 years. Extreme takes students as high in the air as allowed under current regulations; its parachutes are equipped with advanced computer opening devices, and complimentary transportation is offered to and from the Strip. Spectators are welcome to join the fun.
